A significant new funding stream is launching for schools from Monday (01/06/26), with the government’s £3.7 billion capital investment supporting inclusive provision across mainstream education settings.

Noise in the classroom can do more than distract, it can actively hinder learning. From reduced concentration to difficulties in communication, poor acoustics can create barriers for pupils, especially those with additional needs. Understanding the impact is the first step toward creating more inclusive, effective learning environments.
